Now stuck in her mermaid form and without knowledge to turn back, Jane decided to take another bath to see if that would work. Although, just as Jane was about to collapse to the floor she felt a rather unfamiliar sensation run throughout her wrist where she had worn the bracelet. She stopped and just laid there hoping it wasn't another change to her body. She passed it off as nothing but then she realised she could no longer move any of her body apart from her head. She was still for a short while, her head darting around and trying to move her hands. Jane began to panic because it would be serious if someone other than Amy were to find her like this. Then her tail started to flap against Jane's will.
The mermaid was beginning to think she was being controlled. She tried to stop the tail flapping like she has done before but it was freely thumping against the wooden floor. It was at that moment when another unexpected turn of events began to happen. Jane's body rose from the bed almost as if she was floating. She ended up in a standing position with her fins lay in front of her spread across the floor. Still Jane was unable to move and all she could do was watch.
Jane looked into the full length mirror at the back of the room. It was the first time she saw herself in the mirror in her mermaid form and she felt she looked disgusting. At the age of 45, she was quite of a curvy woman and she liked it but her mermaid curse caused her to cover herself. The large fin attached to Jane really looked unnatural and ugly to her. Suddenly an unfamiliar female voice echoed through Jane's thoughts "You really need to show off that body of yours".
"Wait, whoever you are. Stop PLEASE!" Jane's hands moved and were beginning to take off her dress. Jane cried for them to stop but the hands continued to guide the dress upwards past the breasts, then the neck. Finally the dress fell to the floor causing the mother to look away from the mirror. She was still wearing a large F cup white bra and the remains of her tights hung from around her hips. "That's much better. How about we show that body of yours to the public".
"NO PLEASE! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!" Jane shouted. She didn't know if calling out would help but she had little choice in the matter. Her body lifted from the ground and still in standing position, she began a slow journey towards Amy's window balcony. The voice called again "I am the owner of the aqua necklace. Those who have worn the cursed aqua items are forever in my control". As she inched closer and closer Jane pleaded with the voice to reconsider. Finally, just before reaching the window edge Jane fell to the floor.
"Fine, have it your way for now. Play mom for a while longer but just remember that I can change and control your body anytime".
When the voice faded, Jane finally gained control of her body again. The teary eyed mermaid watched as her tail began a slow and painful transformation back to legs. Not only did she need to be careful of water and her time without water, she now needed to be careful of her new master the owner of the aqua necklace. Not to mention it was now late to fulfill Amy's blackmail so it seemed her human life was about over. Jane removed every piece of evidence she was in Amy's room and ran to her room to cry. She forgot about the water spillage by her door and she stepped in it as she entered so she jumped on the bed in tears and anger whilst she began yet another mermaid transformation.
