Mary decides to drink half the lion vial so she will stop at about where John is now. Just enough to do human stuff but just Lioness enough to control her boyfriend soon to be Lion. She gulps it down and goes to the bar. She had one minute – maybe – before John get out of the restroom.
What would a lion eat? Anything with meat in it she guesses. She orders the ten burgers and hotdogs from the barmaid and tries to pay, but she seems busy. Mary waves a hundred dollar bill at her, and says “Now, please.” The barmaid looks at Mary strange but with that, she grabs a bag and starts getting the food. Holding the money, Mary looks at her hands. She noticed a fine layer of tawny fur on her arms. Her nails had grown longer, and black, breaking the pink nail polish. The barmaid handed her the food, and entered at the cash register but it was slow. Mary was getting impatient. “The change is yours.” She almost growled. The barmaid looked confused.
No she did growl! Mary fake smiled and repeated, “Keep the change – thank you!” Mary bit her tongue to control her annoyance - drawing some blood. She felt her teeth. She had real fangs now. This would be awesome if she wasn't so worried.
“Raaaaaaorrrrlw!” People looked around wondering what the noise was, but the loud music blaring kept them confused. Mary knew it was John and hurried to the bathroom. A man ran out as Mary barged in. In a powerful voice John roared, “What the Fuck is wrong with ME!!!” He stared shocked at himself in the mirror. Shocked was better than some lion urge to fuck and kill. “I’m turning into a fucking monster!”
Mary tried to explain, “It’s OK John, we’re turning into lions, but it’s reversible if we get home now.” John was now completely covered in fur, and he had most of a muzzle. He had an almost lion face with a few features that hinted he was John. His shirt and Jeans were starting to look really tight, as his body was starting to lose its human shape. Still in shock John replies, “Well, let’s get out of here!”
They leave the bathroom. A lot of people are staring at them now, but they head toward the door and leave. A nerdy kid slows John down – still in a confused daze. “Wow, man you have the best costume ever! I bet it wins first prize!”
Mary is holding the door open beckoning for John to come, when the cocky guy from earlier – Andrew - walks up. “Hey cutie, I knew you’d come out for me.” Mary tried to keep the door open, but the bouncer grabbed her and led her away from the line of people trying to get in. “Sorry miss, this door must remain closed.”
The cocky guy starts following Mary, who still has her eyes on the door. She turns to him, and growls, “Get back, or my boyfriend will fucking kill you.”
He laughs, “You don’t mean that guy from earlier!”
Mary turns and stares at him, with golden slitted lion pupils.
Nervously he remarks, “Woah, babe don’t get feisty!”
Something ticked Mary’s temper, and suddenly, she jumped on him. Tackling him she knocked him to the ground, but then she pulled back. Her anger satisfied. John now around 75% lion and almost on all fours, however, was out of door now and saw Mary fall. His instincts sprung immediately into action, as he jumped over the rails, and pounced the man as soon as Mary had gotten up.
Mary thought to stop him, but it was too late. John’s hand paws pinned him down, as he bit the man’s neck down with his fangs. He jerked and shredded him to pieces. About twenty people saw it – shocked.
“COME ON,” Mary roared as she ran to the parking lot. Running on her lion like toes, she was surprisingly fast, but John ran on all fours and soon passed her. John didn’t know where he was going and Marry called to him to come back to the car. She opened the back door, and John understood enough to jump in. She jumped in the driver’s seat. "We just killed a guy! What now!"
