Mary wanted to let John know that she was a dolphin, just to be safe. She began slashing, flipping, squeaking, pointing at the box and doing anything in order to tell John who she was.
"Hmmm..." Said John out loud. He looked confused and worried. He seemed to be considering something.
"Perhaps this dolphin is sick." John said to himself, surprised at this dolphins strange behavior. "I could call animal control..."
Mary heard this and panicked. She couldn't leave the pool, she's be a dolphin forever! She just needed twenty five more minutes for the pool cleanser to come on...
John stood up with his phone in his hand. Mary assumed he'd made up his mind. She couldn't risk animal control catching her!
Diving as deep as possible, Mary pumped her tail as hard as she could and rocketed out of the water at John. She slammed into him, knocking him down. He picked Mary up and carried her back to the pool, which was difficult.
"Don't you worry." He said to her. "I'm getting you help." He pointed to his phone. The ID of the person he was called clearly read, Animal Control.
Mary's heart sank and her body sank too, literally. She let herself sink to the bottom of the pool in despair.
"I'm never getting out of this body." She thought.
Coming to the surface, she heard John talking to animal control.
"Yeah it was acting so strange... I found it in a pool... my girlfriend's pool... no she wasn't home... I tried calling, she didn't answer... 3622 Hilltop drive... Twenty minutes?... ok see you then... bye." He hung up. Then he walked over to the pool and stared at Mary.
"Help is on the way, little dolphin. You're going to feel better real soon." He said. Mary wanted to scream at him. "NO I'M FINE! I'M MARY, YOU IDIOT!" But of corse she didn't. She couldn't.
Then she realized something! Twenty minutes?! She needed twenty five minutes! It wasn't exact but I was worth some hope.
"Please arrive late please arrive late..."
