Sharon looked directly at Karl, watching him struggle to get the words out. He stopped and took a deep breath. "What I mean is, can you forgive me and Alice for our role in exposing your kind?"
"Of course, I do Karl. I never blamed you and neither do any of the other werewolves I know. You had no idea about Sally's truth and therefore had no idea what was going to happen," replied Sharon. Karl breathed a sigh of relief and looked like a thousand pounds had lifted off his shoulders. "Like I said before, something like this happening was inevitable. In fact, I'm a little surprised it hadn't happened sooner considering how many cameras there are in the world these days."
"That is true," replied Nate, nodding in agreement.
"Anyone else have anything to add?" asked Clarence.
"I do have one thing that's been gnawing at me all evening," Nate turned to Walter. "All night you've been talking about how werewolves are such a danger to the world, but when you look not at small, individual incidents, but at the bigger picture the human race has proven itself to be far more violent and dangerous. Correct me if I'm wrong here Sharon, but have werewolves ever committed acts of mass genocide? Bombed cities? Attempted to wipe out an entire race?"
Sharon shook her head no.
"What's your point?"
"My point is that your call to wipe out the werewolf packs is the same mistake the human race has made time and time again. From Hitler and the Holocaust to America and it's treatment of the Native Americans, among countless other examples. When are we going to learn from these horrific mistakes?" replied Nate.
"I don't think it's the same thing. We have to do this to protect the people. I'm telling you cannot trust these creatures. Something has to be done or we'll all be sorry." replied Walter. Nate slumped back in his chair in defeat. He could not get this man to see reason. He felt bad for Sharon having to sit there and listen to all that. He marveled at her self control, especially on the night of the full moon.
"We'll be back with our guests final thoughts after these messages," said Clarence
The show then cut to a wide shot of the group as it faded to the next commercial break.
