While waiting for the bus, Liz patted the bag with Maddie inside. Maddie felt her new form move around inside the spare clothes and water bottle. Unable to communicate or move she could still feel the difference that had resulted from Liz's wish... She felt... engorged and aroused. There was nothing for it, though. Maddie couldn't do anything but sit in the bag.
Meanwhile, Liz noticed the advertisement for hair color on the inside wall of the shelter. Getting into being more wild, kind of as a wind-up for her excitement to play with Maddie, she decided to try some wishes for hair. She pulled out a compact from an outside pocket in her bag and looked at her auburn hair. She had gotten plenty of sun since winter and her hair was lighter for it, but she wondered.
Looking to the left and right and seeing nobody not walking by at a brisk pace, she muttered while holding the medallion, "If I can touch my nose I my hair will turn blonde." Touching her nose with the hand holding the medallion, she sees her hair go blonde in the small mirror. Holding it away from herself, she can see her whole head. It isn't so flattering, she thinks, on her slightly tan skin. Thinking more wild, she decides to try red. Muttering the same wish for this new color, she touches her nose. The blonde hair doesn't fade so much as blur into a fire-engine red color. "Wow!" Liz can't help but exclaim.
That is pretty gaudy. Liz considers the palette of colors and thinks purple might work better. Looking around again, she has no company; she speaks the wish for a muted purple hair color.
Touching her nose and looking in the compact, she likes what she sees as her hair gets darker, again. Messing with her bangs, she decides that color works. Putting the compact in the bag, she makes sure to rustle the contents in the hopes of making things less boring for Maddie. The bus is rolling up, so Liz has to collect the bags she has and got on to go...
