A minute after the two got into the casino, Carl tried to use the opportunity to quietly slip away and get back to the room where he could just hopefully wait out Wendy's latest wishes, however the harder he tried to get away from Pete, the closer he found himself becoming until he was practically on top of Pete. Pete misreading the signals, put an arm around Carl(y) and pull his new friend closer. Carl just tried to take it in stride when he realized he was defeated.
The two made their way to the craps table, and after a few rounds of nothing good. It was Pete's turn to roll and he offered Carl the die. Before he knew what he was doing Carl softly blew on the die for luck and Pete rolled a lucky 7. Pete and Carl repeated this routine a couple of times before getting bored and Pete lead Carl to the blackjack table. There was only one spot at the table so Pete took the seat. After a few hands of Pete losing Carl once again foolishly tried to back away but the magic turned that into Carl sitting on Pete's lap who did not complain one bit about the beautiful girl sitting on him. It was this little move that seemed to turn Pete's luck around and he won hand after hand after hand of blackjack. "Looks like you're my personal lady luck." Pete said giving Carl a quick peck on the cheek. Carl once again tried to fight the magic and run off, but instead he gave Pete a kiss on the cheek of his own.
"I really need to stop fighting that wish or things could get bad for me". Carl thought seeing the look in Pete's eyes. After a few more consecutive winning hands for Pete.
