Looking around, the changes in this room are much more subtle, it seems to you... but then it occurs to you that you rarely entered this room when you were very young, so your recollection of what has changed isn't particularly reliable. The room now is brighter than you remember it usually being-- there are two windows, both with the Venetian blinds left open. The bed is a king-sized mattress with a wooden headboard, neatly made, with a dark green blanket covering it. On both sides of the bed is a bedside table with a lamp. Along the opposite wall is your parents' dresser-- the same one you know from the present, but looking much less aged.
Brooke opens the door to the closet while you check the adjoining bathroom. Neither of you find anyone there.
"Hmm...," you say. "Nobody in here either. I guess no one's home right now. My parents probably took me somewhere." You sit on the bed and look at Brooke. "Well, uh... what do you want to do now? Should I restart time now?"
