Katie woke with a start....awash with the power of the wish still in her mind. She felt it, tugging at her thoughts, the Ring's magic would not let her forget her mother so easily. Gasping, she glanced around at the unfamiliar room, the unfamiliar bed and then herself, fully realizing what she just did. Then, Katie smiled. She was a grown up now, truely a grown up, her mother couldn't boss her around anymore, in fact, her mother didn't exist. She had the power now, the right to be the mom. She wanted to raise Kelly, properly, as she would be raised.
So Katie wished that her life now wouldnt change but would adapt to becoming a single mother, that Kelly would exist again and be reborn as her seven year old daughter. That Kelly would not remember her former life, nor would anyone else remember her other than what she was now.
As she wished it the ring warmed and one of the rooms in the house rearranged to become a seven year olds bedroom. Toys appeared in the main room, drawings on the fridge and little Kelly appeared sleeping soundly in her bed. Katie smiled and rolled over in her sleep, touching the ring. Now to decide what to do with her new life and new friends...
