Lexi and Lilly slink over to you and, one on either side of you and give you a kiss on the cheek. This time you can feel more of their dust sprinkling atop you they do. You feel your entire body tingle, starting from where the dust first touches you and then spreading down every strand of hair, every pore of skin, down your wings and finally down your legs and over your toes. You body quivers slightly, you smile as it does. You stand and look at yourself awaiting the change. After a few minutes the strange tingling sensation begins to fade. You notice no other changes. You're smile fades and you look over at the two other fairies, who are now standing and smiling at you like the cat that ate the canary.
"Uh...when will I be normal?" you ask.
"You already are." Lexi says.
"This isn't normal." you tell her, your brow furrowing as you begin breathing heavily.
"Sure it is. You're a perfectly normal fairy." Lexi says.
"Oh no, I think she meant that she wanted to be a normal human male." Lilly says and approaches you grabbing on to your left arm.
"Oh I think she looks much better like this." Lexi says and grabs on to your right arm "Good thing we made her change permanent."
"What?! No, you can't-" your protests are cut off when they beat their wings and fly up towards the ceiling. A small circle of purple light appears in front of you. You close your eyes reflexively as the three of you fly towards it. A brilliant flash of light shines, even through your tightly closed eyes. You're temporarily blinded, which is becoming a bit of a habit with you. When you finally blink away the bright lights you see you're no longer in a locker room. You're in a grassy field filled with flowers.
"Welcome home." the two of them say happily. As you look around you feel an inexplicable sense of joy wash over you, and a growing feeling that this place is, indeed, your home.
