- Ethan's perspective -
You're nervous to see Ame. Is she a morning person? Hope not. You want to see her sleepy face. You walk down the hall to go into one of the bedrooms. You open the door and see Ame sitting in the middle bunk. She looks pretty exhausted and she looks adorable, rubbing her eyes with the hood on. The hood falls off her head and she looks me in the eye, the first time I see them. Her ears lift up an inch or three like she's surprised and looks away. Considering she can't snore without braying at least once or the fact she has donkey ears and tails and looks like a young little boy, she just looks cute. The heartache kind of cute. You offer your hand out to her, and she takes it, and I walk her to outside. The minute she's outside, I notice her eyes are gleaming. She looks happy, but her ears are down, like when she was sad when we found her.
"You okay?" You ask.
She looks down at the ground with a smile. "Yea, I'm fine. How'd I get here though? And who made this jacket?"
"You passed out of dehydration so I brought you back here." Pausing, you added, "And are you sure you're okay? Your ears are down like you're sad."
"Really? I didn't notice. I'm perfectly fine at the moment. I don't really have anything to loose or anything, so why cry now." She calmly says , looking at the outside world. "Its been forever since I've seen a butterfly."
"Ethan? Ethan?" A voice calls.
"Right here!" You call back.
A girl no more than fourteen comes outside, smiling. "Does our guest like his jacket?" She's beaming. If she looked up at the sky, even in the light of day that we'd be arrested for shooting lazers up there.
