"Belleblue ShootingStar; my old magic teacher! She knows more about this situation than I do. If anything at all can be done, she'll know what."
You and the fairy quickly get dressed. She fits you with a simple yellow tulip sundress as she put on a pink one herself. Outside she grabs hold of your waist and carries you as you fly off the landing and begin soaring through the fairy village.
"When you said, 'I didn't think one night would be enough to cause it to start happening', what did you mean by that?" You ask.
"Long ago, human children were often taken away to the fairylands. That practice has long been outlawed; but, humans would still blunder into our midst from time to time, as you have. Anyway, humans who live among fairies long enough would eventually become fairies themselves. Such humans are called 'changelings'. Dream Sharing is the first sign of this.
"Children would dream of being a fairy's child," she continued, "and the fairy would dream of being the child's mother. Older humans would have a more... intimate dream about a fairy." She paused for a moment, as if she wanted to elaborate, but she moved on. "Next, is when they forget their human names. Then, the physical changes take place."
Your thoughts on the matter were interrupted, as if on cue, by a stinging in your eyes. You wince, as they feel like they're getting larger. When you open them, everything seems somehow more vivid in color.
Soon you and the fairy land at a house, built straight out of the tree much like hers. The fairy drags you inside where a fairy with robes of blue and violet petals was busy stirring a cauldron. Your intrusion startled her.
"Tulipelle CometDust, have you no manners!?" She bellowed. Getting a good look at her, she didn't seem much older than the fairy she called Tulipelle.
"I'm sorry Miss ShootingStar, but this is an emergency!" Tulipelle quickly explained the situation to the magic teacher.
"...and you're sure you had the same dream from your perspective?" Belleblue asked
"Would you admit so if you didn't?" Tulipelle asked.
"Good point."
"Excuse me, but I'm the one who can't even remember her own name, here!" You shouted.
"She's right, she's calling herself Irisette MoonGlow now." Tulipelle added.
"So, how can we stop it?" You ask.
