A thin boy of thirteen made his way thru the crowd and talked to Stephan.
“Madame, I believe this boy could use some help from you.”
“Oh really? What is your name boy?” She asked him.
“Mu mu my name is Brian.” He mumbled.
“And what is your dilemma Brian?” Madame Illusia asked.
Brian just stood looking around not wanting to say his problem out loud.
Seeing his discomfort the Madame leaned over so he could whisper in her ear. “Awww... I See... Yes...”
“Looks like the boy recently lost his parents to the flu and him and his brother are unable to keep up with the farm work to pay the bank note. They also just lost their last work donkey.” She said to the crowd. “Lets see what can we do for you young man. I know! Here take this powder and mix it with water when you get home, you can even give some to your 12-year-old brother too if he likes what it does to you. Now run along to your new future!”
Brian took the packet and ran out the tent, running past all the horse and buggies and toward his farm.
Once he got home he quickly pulled out the pitcher of water and poured the powder into it, turning it a bright blue.
Hoping for the best Brian poured a glass and was ready to drink wondering what would happen to him...
