"You had the gall to call me an 'evil little kid' big sister? Or is that little sister now? From where I stand, you're the one with no morals. We've always hated each other. I'll admit that now. We were both petty and small towards each other every chance we got. And after all these years to think about it? Finally coming back here? . . . I realize now how stupid it is for us fight as much as we did. But this isn't about me. It's about you, like you always want it to be. I haven't seen mom and dad for almost a decade. And I know how hurt and angry they'd be if I did anything destructive towards you.
"By the way, I got over my dislike of animals. Six years among people who all evolved from different species will do that to you. You look like a monkey to me now Kat. A pink, naked monkey with a mop of yellow hair on your head. But we're still sisters, and I don't want to sink to your level. But I also know you're a threat. If you were willing to experiment on family for the fun of it. I don't WANT to think about what you'd do to strangers.
"You've had your magic for less than a day, and you're able to do spells it took me years to figure out. Maybe I'm slow, but I'm guessing you're artificially enhancing your magic somehow. Either mom and dad gave you a gift to do that, but mom and dad aren't that stupid, or you swiped something that does. Or you're just that insanely powerful right from the start, I'm SCARED to think what you'd do with more experience.
"Six years I've been gone from home Kat. That's a long time. For four of those years I had magic. I didn't have a magic book to teach me. I had to learn everything on my own for a while. Thankfully I was never mistaken for a Fiend in disguise. Though with the people I healed, the fights I ended, I was thought to be a Celestial by some, but I made a few powerful enemies. But thankfully I made quite a few FRIENDS while I was there too Kat. GOOD friends."
Kat laughed, unable to stop herself. "You guys turned into girls are all alike! You can't handle your hormones as a guy, so why should you as a girl?" Kat realized what she just said. "I didn't mean it!"
"Yes . . . you did." Danielle's tail swayed back and forth as she crossed her furry chest.
"Look! YES I want to turn people into bipedal furry animals! Our family just wants to stay hidden and protect the status quo! They don't want to CHANGE anything! As a civilization we fight over the most inane differences! We could an entire population of identical clones and a civil war would STILL break out between the odd and even numbered! I admit maybe I . . . got maybe a little, uh, excited with you, BIG sister, but uh, I wanted to go to that world too remember? I just wanted you to check it out for me."
"And I did. And to be frank, in the six years I've been a Vulman, I agree with you, humans are in need of some serious improvement. Not saying Vulmans, Felmans, Canmans, Lupmans, or the rest are perfect. Far from it. Greed. Thievery. We got plenty. But classism and prejudice are about the problems we DON'T have that you humans do. I wasn't kidding when I said I'd seen how time really works Kat. I've gotten hits at the kind of monster you're growing up into. And I'm not letting you do that to mom and dad, and . . . as your sister, I'm not letting you do it to yourself."
Kat hadn't noticed before, but while Daniella was technically naked fox woman, she did have some items. A couple pieced earrings in one ear, she also noticed some runes tattooed right onto her fur on her back, a decorated sheathed dagger around one hip. Runes engraved on her right arm like the kind used for wands. And a hip bag that Kat realized held Daniella's spell book. She was also wearing a simple gold ring on one finger and a pendant Kat couldn't make out the details of.
Kat gasped, just as her clothes dissolved, much as Daniel's had when she'd turned into a fox person. The restraints shrank to match as her body began to shrink. Blond fur grew all over her body as a tail grew from her head, and pointed ears form on her head from her former human ears. Her face pushed into a familiar muzzle. Her breasts shrank down to nothing. But more than that . . . Kat felt some THING between her legs, like her insides were being turned inside down. She gasped at dismay what she saw. But much worse, Kat felt HER MAGIC be sealed away, beyond her gasped.
The chains vanished.
Kat looked over himself, a gold fox kit, on the wrong side of puberty. He cried. "You think . . . mom and dad will just let you get away with this?"
"Ironic words coming from you, LITTLE BROTHER." Daniella said cold faced. "But I'm sure we'll be back long before mom and dad come home . . . We could spend decades there and it'll be minutes here. I want to see them again so badly, along with my girl friend that you tore away from me, just so I can say I'll always love her and she'll always be dear to me. But right now, you're my major concern. Now let's come along, we have somewhere to be."
Kat sobbed. "Where?!"
"You said you wanted to go there. And we will. I agreed that humanity needs improving, but right now Kat? You're a monster. You'll do it for all the wrong reasons. Because you hate people instead of wanting to help them."
"Just let me get-"
"You sent me there NAKED. Don't worry, I'll cast the same spell you did on me so you'll speak the language. Now come along BABY BROTHER, I can make you even younger, as far back as I need to, to make sure you don't become the monster I saw."
The little fox kit whimpered and nodded and took her big sister's paw. Both vanished through a portal that closed behind them.
