The two of you were on your way to the mall. It wasn't very far so you figured you'd save a little gas and walk. You quickly regret this decision when you realize your flowery new sandals are anything but walking shoes.
"Hey, Mark." you say
"Yeah?"
"Why sandals?"
"Why not?"
"Maybe because I don't want to walk another step in these?"
"It could be worse."
"How?"
"You could've worn heels."
"Very funny."
You kept walking, not saying much until you passed by a driveway where a young man was washing his car. You slowed and realized you were staring, then you realized you didn't care. He looked to be in his twenties. He stood about six feet tall with black hair. His white t-shirt was soaked revealing his powerful abs underneath. He wasn't the Hulk, but he was nothing to be scoffed at. The guy that goes the gym just enough to get that perfect body, then leaves the body building to the muscle freaks. He was just right.
"Lauren?" said the other you, "Are you checking him out?"
"What?" you said quickly, "No."
"Let's say hello then. He seems like a nice guy."
"No!"
"So you were checking him out!"
"No!"
"Oh quit being so defensive."
"I'm not defensive!"
Mark's face said it all.
"Alright," you said, "I was checking him out. I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I'm a straight male and I keep looking." he suddenly got a look in his eyes that spelled trouble, "You want him to be your boyfriend?" he said, fingering the wand.
"What? No! I'm- I..."
"Yes?"
You bit your lip anxiously. You were really embarrassed by the thought, but yes, you wanted to be his girlfriend, and here was a golden opportunity.
"Okay," you say, "Make him my boyfriend."
"As you wish, m'lady." He said as he waved the wand at the guy. "Though once a man and straight also, my sister wants him for her beau!"
There was a flash of light and it looked like nothing happened until...
"Lauren!" the young man shouted looking up from his car, "I was wondering when you'd be over! Who's your friend?"
"Oh!" you say, still surprised but really excited, "He's my twin brother, Mark."
"Hi, Mark." He said as he ran over and shook Mark's hand, "I'm Matt, your sister's boyfriend."
"Yeah, I heard she was dating. I'm usually pretty protective of my sis, but you look like a nice enough guy."
"Thanks, always good to have approval."
"If you boys are done meeting, Mark and I were just going to the mall," you say, "would you and your gorgeous abs like to join us?"
"Only if your cute little nose is there too, Laurie." He said as he leaned in and, much to your surprise, kissed you right on the lips. You were shocked, you thought you should have been appalled, but he was just good enough that you didn't mind in the slightest.
He let go of the kiss and you almost begged for another, but you stopped yourself. "Just let me put some dry clothes on first, okay?" he said
"Okay..." you say dreamily
Matt turned to go inside, but turned around at the door, "I'll be right back, gummy bear." he said before vanishing into the house.
"Gummy bear?" Mark said, "You have got to be kidding."
"Shut up, you're just jealous."
"Jealous, me?" He scoffed, "I can always find someone at the mall."
