Once there was a very powerful magician. He lived somewhere not far a away from a bigger town and didn't mingle with people normally. Only every now and then he visited a shopping center in the outskirts of the city. When he did so he wore what magicians usually wear: a robe that looked like a bathrobe but with stars embroidered all over and a hat that looked more like an ice cone, also covered wiith stars. He had long white hait and and even longer white beard. Being quite small (he stood only 5 feet) people started laughing when they saw him.
He had not been to the city for several years and was looking for a piece of cloth to make a new robe. He entered the shopping center and started looking for something that might fit his needs. While browsing through their offers the shop agents made jokes behind his back and so did the customers. The magician was well aware of the joking and decided to teach the crowd a lesson. He grabbed something from a rack and went to the changing rooms. He found a free cubicle and closed the door behind him. What he brought he hanged on the hook. Then he started whispering words in an old language.
The stayed in the cubicle for some time, then he lreft the shop leavving whatever he brought behind, Leaving items behind was something normal. The shop agents asked the cstomers to do so as they would arrange everything and bring back to the displays
What he did was cursing the cibicle. From now on until he wozld lift the curse strange things might happen to the people who want to try new outfits in there. Whoever enters the cubicle from now on to try on something and catches sight with whatever piece of cloth is left in there feels the urge to buy that piece. This would caiuse his body to change into a form that piece would fit for. They also had to buy all items that are needed to make a complete outfit matching the piece they got in the cubicle. As the magician didn't want to humiliate people unnecessarily he added that part to his curse to make sure that everybody who changed would have at least one complet set of clothing fitting to their new form. Last thing those customers have to do is taking another piece of cloth to the cubicle to let the curse continue its work.
When the magician returned to his home he took his glass ball and watched the cubicle.
