"Papa!?" Jaya was shocked to hear his father's voice, "Get off!" he attempted to get free, but Rajesh's weight kept him pinned down
"Not a chance, my son, you need to be reminded who is truly strongest in this house."
Jaya reached back and attempted to push Rajesh's head away before feeling the turban his father wore. He was reminded of the insecurity Rajesh had about his baldness and quickly removed his father's turban.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Rajesh released Jaya and covered his head with his hands. Jaya took this opportunity to shove his father off of him and spring out of the bed. Jamal was still sitting at the computer, watching the whole scene, paralyzed by shock.
"What did you do!?" Jaya yelled
"I I don't know!" Jamal stuttered, "I thought I was messing up your game! I didn't" he paused "this thing is real!?"
"Move!" Jaya pushed the office chair Jamal was sitting on, causing him to slide away. He then quickly typed in the chronivac to undo the last change that was made.
"What's with all the yelling, boys?" Rajesh, still laying in Jaya's bed, was rubbing his head as if waking up from a dream.
"It is nothing" Jaya wrapped the turban material around his waist to cover his nakedness "You should go back to sleep, Papa." Rajesh shrugged and fell asleep.
"You're not getting off that easy, nerd" Jamal walked towards his brother "You have this gadget that can change people, I want to play too."
"No way! You don't know what you're doing! Look what you almost made Dad and I do."
"I have a great idea of what I'm doing now. Now back off, Bro."
"You can't fight me, we're evenly matched!"
"While you've been studying" Jamal lifted Jaya, "I've been training" and threw him onto the bed. "Now, what to do." Jamal pondered for a second. Changing Jaya directly would be a risk because of their shared blood. A change to Jaya's genetics would change Rajesh's genetics and change Jamal. But Jaya and Jamal were half brothers. The safest option would be to change Jaya's mother.
Jaya had just recovered from the throw and was about go after Jamal again, but Jamal had already entered the changes and pressed enter. Downstairs, Jaya's mother was changing, soon to be followed by Jaya himself.
