Katie still had a hard time believing that the 14 year-old girl sitting next to her had only yesterday been her middle aged mother, now she was her twin sister who seemed to be a little bit of a rebel.
"Next time, we should try sneaking into an 'R' rated movie instead." Kelly said leaning over and whispering to her.
"Uh, earth to Kelly, we didn't sneak in here, we paid for this movie, remember? look I even have our tickets right here." Katie said showing her sister the tickets she had in her pocket.
"Seriously Katie? I thought you wanted to do something fun?"
"Going to the movies is fun." Katie argued.
"Yeah but it's not as much fun as sneaking in. You know there are some days when you're not as cool as I think you are." Kelly said.
"Well one of us has to be the mature one here." Katie replied.
"You're only older than me by a solid minute." Kelly said.
"Whatever, next time we're picking something I want to do and not you."
"Fine by me. Geez, there are some days I wish you weren't my sister." Katie said forgetting for a second that she was still wearing the ring.
"Oh no!" Katie shouted rather loudly making some people in the theater shush her including Kelly.
"What's wrong with you?" Kelly asked looking at Katie.
"I...I...can't remember, but I don't think it was too important." Katie said.
"Alright, well look, sorry I got a little mad earlier but you should seriously try and do exciting things every now and then." Kelly said to Katie.
"You're right. Still best friends?" Katie asked her best friend forgetting all about Kelly once being her mother.
"Always and forever." Kelly replied.
Katie still remembered the ring and that she could wish anyone older or younger with it and after the movie was over.
