Keiko thought long and hard about all her options with herself and her father, but when it came down to it, she was comfortable with both of them being preteens and she had no desire to change it anytime soon. Of course, she knew this would be a problem. Her father had work, she had school, they had a house and then there was her mother. Keiko rarely saw her since she had chosen to move back to Japan instead of staying in the US. Sometimes Keiko wondered what it would be like growing up there rather than here, but all her friends were here. As it was now, she had a new friend in her father...no, in Jason, she had to remember that was his name now. Idly, she traced her fingers through the boy's hair.
Keiko had to admit, her dad was pretty handsome as a kid, wait, where were those feelings coming from? It must be something about growing up, made her think differently maybe without realizing it. Right now though she had to get the situation in order. She quietly made a series of wishes that her father's work wouldn't miss him, and that he would be set up to go to school with her and live with her here at the house and no one would think twice of it. She felt the ring warm and suddenly she saw the office accross from her room shift. A bed and other furniture appeared as did boys clothes and toys, until the room had the typical appearance of a preteen boy's room. She noticed the pictures on the wall shift, showing any with her father with him as his current age now.
Giggling, Keiko wondered what else the ring could do.
