Alice went downstairs and found her mom near the door. She didn't even seem surprised, like she wasn't changed at all. "Going out honey?"
Alice nodded, gulping. "Uhm yeah. I...is something wrong."
Her mother shook her head and crouched down to Alice's level. "Not at all my little faun, you go out and have fun but promise me you won't create too much mischeif, alright?"
Alice realized that as a Faun, her kind were known for mischeif. Scuffing a hoof on the ground absentmindedly she nodded. "Of course mom!"
"Good, then go have fun, be back for dinner!"
Alice scooted out the front door and as the sun kissed her fur and skin, she felt invigorated. Being outside felt so much better, it was as if she was meant to be out doors, at play in the wilds and nature. This was only natural since she was a faun.
