"You are silver" Greg replied.
Jeff replied, "If I'm going to have a metallic body, I might as well be a metallic color. Good choice."
Greg took some photos with his phone and then synced it with Jeff's entertainment system. " "What do you think?" Greg asked.
Jeff replied, "I look and feel awesome! My skin is feels fresh and new, like I have just been born! You better get some wax on me so that it doesn't wear off."
"Yes sir" Greg replied. He applied the putty wax all over Jeff's body. Jeff thoroughly enjoyed the buffing machine; it was like rubbing his entire surface of skin with lube. His shifter started to tremble in ecstasy. Greg noticed; and said "You better not strip your gears jacking your shifter..." Jeff dipped his radio in response.
"All finished up" said Greg.
"Good" said Jeff. "I am starving. You didn't fill me up with gas on the way over here."
Greg replied," I know bro, I'm running short on cash." Just then Greg's cell phone rang. Their mom was calling them home for dinner – it had gotten pretty late.
"Perfect" said Greg. "We will go home and transform you in time for dinner. That way I don't have to pay for gas."
"All right-" grumbled Jeff. He switched his station again and turned some heavy metal so that he didn't have to talk to Greg anymore.
Greg hopped in and started Jeff up. Jeff roared to life. As Greg ran Jeff through the paces on the way home, Jeff loved having his brothers hand work his shifter. His engine RPM's peaked as Greg shifted him into high gear. Just short of their neighborhood, Greg abruptly turns off into a freshly plowed field.
" Jeff tunes his radio in and blares," What are you doing? You're going to ruin my paint on the first day!"
"Pipe down, jeep! If dad lent you to me to be my vehicle, then I'm gonna drive you where I want!" Greg turns off Jeff's radio, thus silencing Jeff's protest. Greg spins a couple of donuts, and then heads to the muddy end of the field. Jeff can feel his filters starting to clog, and shifts to the high snorkel that Danny had installed on him. The breath of fresh air stoked his engine.
Greg plowed through the pond at the end of the field like it was a puddle. Jeff crawled out masterfully with his hands er- tires as if he was born with them. Finally- it was time to get home.
Greg pulls Jeff into the driveway and hoses him down. Jeff and Greg's dad walks out to admire his new son/jeep.
" Nice work! he exclaimed. " You and Danny have made Jeff into a beautiful machine!" "As much as I would love to take him for a spin, we need to get in for dinner. "Pull Jeff into the garage, and let's get him transformed before your mom yells at us." Jeff's father went back up to the Chronivac and issued the commands to change his son back from a jeep into teenager. Warning messages popped up on the screen: WARNING- TEYING TO LOCATE ALL ORIGINAL ELEMENTS OF SUBJECT. MISSING ELEMENTS OUT OF RANGE. PROCEEDING WITH REVERSION OF SUBJECT WITH REPLACEMENT PARTS.
Jeff's father yelled down to the garage, "Is everything all right? The Chronivac is giving me some weird warnings."
Greg replied, "You better get down there fast; somethings not quite right!
