"All right, just try to relax" said the nurse, taking out a small syringe. "You'll be fine."
Nate was sitting in a chair in a white room, shirtless and waiting to be transformed. He felt slightly nervous, but was excited at the prospect of becoming a wolf. As he watched, the nurse swabbed his arm, then injected the serum.
Nate waited in anticipation. As the minutes passed, he started to perspire, then he felt an itching sensation all over his body. Looking down, Nate's eyes widened as he saw small, grey hairs growing from his hands and forearms. "Cool!" He held a hand up as the fur grew thicker, his nails darkened and sharper, and his palms started go form black paw pads. As the fur spread, Nate felt his teeth growing sharper, becoming fangs, and his ears became more pointed.
Nate growled in pleasure, watching the fur sprout all over his chest and legs. He felt a strange sensation in his feet and he stood up as he felt them stretch into a digitigrade; his feet also grew claws and pads, looking more like paws than feet. It became uncomfortable for him to stand, so Nate dropped to his hands and knees. He felt a tugging at his backside as a wolf's tail grew from his backside.
The fur spread up Nate's neck and soon started to sprout on his face. He growled again as his ears grew into a lupine shape, and his nose turned black. Finally, Nate felt his face elongate into a wolf's snout.
As he admired his new body, a rumble issued from the back of the room. Looking around, Nate saw an opening, large enough for him to fit through. He stepped outside, into the world beyond.
