Your mother decided to throw away the book. She tossed it in the trash and brought it out to the garbage bins, where a few days later a garbage truck took it to the dump.
But a magic book doesn't stand to be thrown out.
The book needed an owner, a new will to which it would bend.
The book took many years to decide to whom it would go. Then finally, in 2015, it decided.
Madison Zurich, more commonly called Maddie, was 16 years old when the book found her. She had dark eyes, dark hair, and a bright personality. She had knowledge both of school and of people, and was able to understand people easily. A fitting owner for a book of infinite power.
The book appeared by her bedside, in her large room that she acquired due to being an only child. The book's warm glow subsided slowly as the pages cleared and readied themselves.

As you stretch out, still lying down, your hand brushes something on your bedside table that wasn't there before. You sit up and look at it. It looks like an old, leather-bound book. You want to test if the book is real, so you grab a pen and write, "The walls of my room were not painted blue." You close the book. The walls of your room, painted blue when you were five-years-old, suddenly became the pink they were before. You are amazed! Suddenly, your mom enters the room. She doesn't seem to notice the walls, so you ask, "Mom, does anything about my room seem different?" She replies, "Yes, it's dirtier than usual." As she picks up discarded clothes and throws them in the hamper. You are the only person who realizes the changes!
You realize that you can change anything with that book. You write...
