"I wish I had a more magical life!" Amy said. Suddenly, the mirror's reflection changed to an image of a forest. Amy swore she could see small winged figures streaming across the view leaving colorful trails of glittering light in their wake; but she didn't have much time to look as she was overtaken by a bizarre energy surging through herself. She fell to her knees as she felt her body beginning to shrink. As she got smaller, the energy seemed to concentrate on her ears, causing them to turn outward and elongate.
"LINAAAA!" Amy managed to shout out in a voice that was higher pitched, but still distinctly her own.
"Amy?" Lina called out from elsewhere in the store.
Though she could hear her, Amy, now engulfed in her clothes, was also too wracked with the sensation of the surging energy, which was concentrating on her forehead and her back, to respond. Thin, pink stalks sprouted from her forehead, pushing out from behind her bangs. Along with them, came new sensations; most notably, she could now sense the energies given off by the mirror; and herself. She didn't have much time to take them in before she felt something pierce her back from the inside out; four of them, in fact. Four coiled sheets pushed out of her back, unfurled, and steadily grew into broad, pink butterfly wings. Amy could feel the touch of her clothing fabric on them as she crawled toward her shirt collar.
"Amy?" Lina continued to call down each aisle until she got to the one with the mirror. The forest background faded as Lina approached Amy's clothes. They were in a crumpled heap on the floor, and there was a fading pink light moving inside. Lina saw a nine-inch tall fairy crawl out of the shirt collar.
"AMY?!"
