Jeff's mind had been completely destroyed as he was absorbed into Melissa, but she could still just barely remember some of his memories. She had been driving her car when it closed in on her, the car being... herself? She knew what had happened now, and though she felt a little sorry for what happened to Jeff, he deserved it. And besides, part of him lives on in me, she thought to herself.
Melissa looked at the pile of clothes in the corner of the alley and then at herself. She liked her body, but something about the idea of absorbing someone like that was exciting. She needed to try it out on someone else. Or... something else.
She was hidden well out of view by the shade of the buildings around her and the trash cans in the alley. Behind her was a dead end with an open dumpster. There was movement and rustling from some sort of animal there, possibly a stray dog. In front of her was the entrance to the street, some young businessman she didn't know was standing still and talking on his phone, completely oblivious about what was happening in the alley. Two possible targets...
