Carrie makes it out of the forest, crawling under a fence. She looked behind her, still hearing the guards following her as she continued running. She wondered what happened to her friends, this was insane, how did they really think they could get away with hunting people down like animals? This had to be some sort of a joke, right?
She tripped over something in the grass, sending her face first into the mud. She managed to get to her feet, her clothes now caked with mud, or at least she hoped it was mud.
"Ewww, why did I ever listen to Jarred!" Carrie says, stomping her foot when she looked up to see the guards standing around her. "Look, I'm sorry, I'll just go back home and forget I never came here, please, have mercy on me."
The guards exchange glances, not sure what to do with this girl. Carrie tried not to cry, she was scared that she was going to be turned into an animal.
"I'm sorry, but rules are rules," the head guard says sympathetically. "But how's this, to be fair we'll allow you to choose what animal you turn into for the rest of your life, as long as its one in the Farm area."
