I was distracted from the energy by a yawn. Ava was stretching. I tried to ignore the effects the stretch had on her naked body.
"Whew, I'm suddenly super tired," she said. "Do you mind if I crash on your couch?"
"Sure," I said, and she quickly lay down on the living room sofa. "Um, I guess we'll figure out the clothes thing after you wake up --" She seemed to already be asleep.
I heard the voice in my head again. "Good, now we can have a little chat."
"What do you mean, you're the ring? And in control?" I said in a low voice. "The old lady I got you from didn't tell me anything about --"
"The old lady didn't realize I was a sentient being," the voice interrupted. "Usually I'm passive, but -- hey, it's been millennia since I've had some real fun."
"Millennia?" I asked.
"Yeah, but I've only been here in your dimension for a short time. Someone in my home dimension wasn't happy with a couple wishes I granted, and wished I'd disappear. So I granted it by searching for a dimension where I'd work but there weren't any other magic objects cramping my style, putting checks on my power -- lucky you! That old lady who found me first was a total dud, but I knew when you made your wish for this girl to be naked that you were right up my alley."
"But if you're just gonna do your own thing --"
"Hey, I am still limited by the person wearing me -- their thoughts, their emotions, their fantasies --"
I'd been so distracted, it hadn't occurred to me to just take the ring off. I yanked at it. It stayed right where it was.
"Unh-unh. I'm stuck on you now, until I want off."
The thought crossed my mind -- what if I cut off my finger? I hoped it wouldn't come to that.
"I could put myself anywhere on your body. I could be a cock ring. You want to try cutting that off?"
"You can read my mind?" I squeaked.
"Of course! I told you, your thoughts, your emotions, your fantasies!"
I felt like I was defeated. I slid down into my living room chair.
"Aw, don't be like that," said the ring. "Everything will be coming from you, more or less. So let's see -- what should I do first?"
