Coleena felt like she was no longer there. The transformation brought no pain at all, and didn't even feel like anything, but she could tell she was transforming. She saw her hands become smaller and padded, like a cats paw. She looked down and saw the same happen to her feet. She turned her head around as much as she could to see a lovely little tail come out over her rear. She couldn't see them, but she knew that there were ears popping out her heads. Her shifted into cat eyes, and gradually, she became smaller and smaller into the body of a kitten.
She could feel her mind transform into something she never felt before. She became more and more energetic and rambunctious, and felt like she was the happiest person alive. She realized suddenly, that her clothes were gone and replaced by the new fur on her skin, but more than that, the original medallion was gone. She was scared at that fact, but the new kitten mind urged her into welcoming it, and she slowly realized that the medallion shifted into a cat's collar. She relaxed deeply, immersing herself into the new body, which was slowly and unknowingly, taking over her original mind. The medallion part of the collar soon had her name etched into it, but other words glowed more prominently but soon went back to normal. The words said this: "The cat, you will become. But memory shall be no more. You must regain your memory completely over time to turn back into what you were before by finding hints in your new life."
A slender gray female house cat soon came into view of Coleena's eyes, drawing her to it. Mama, she thought. This is mama.
She purred and rubbed her cat cheek against the older cat's leg, and the cat welcomed her with licking her fur, as if Coleena was her own. "Come, little one," she meowed. "That's enough playing for today, we must go home now."
"Okay, mama!" Coleena mewled, purring happily at her new found mother and followed her to their "new" home.
