But it didn't stop there. She could suddenly feel herself grow bigger and bigger, and as she looked at the mirror, she saw that she looked more and more like a dragon. "What the crap?" she yelled. "What's going to happen now?" Her cries didn't stop the pendant from making her more and more into a dragon. More and more muscles grow on her, and her clothes ripped apart to make way for her new dragon body. Spikes grew down on her back from her head, and her eyes became slits and she became more reptilian. Sharp teeth grew gradually inside her closed mouth that she soon opened to check them out. -Oh, gosh, when is this going to stop?- she thought. Something erupted inside her and she uncontrollably roared like a true dragon. Surprised and in shock, she moved a bit and accidentally smashed her mirror, but the glass shards didn't fall to the floor, so she could still look in the mirror at her changes. She felt her weight shift and suddenly she couldn't stand on her two legs any longer. Terra fell face-forward, but her dragon-like hands planted on the ground just in time. She was really frightened at this point, and tried to move, but she could barely fit in the room. She could feel her feet and hands turn into dragon feet, and she had to open her mouth to let out another roar. She was now fully a purple dragon.
Frightened, her new dragon body jumped up into the air, smashing the ceiling, and she flew out of the hole in her house. She really wanted to cry, but she was lost in the moment of flying. In a way, she felt great. She could fly as much as she wanted, and she loved dragons anyway, so why not get into the role of one? She breathed out a lavender inferno, smiling to herself. Her joys were interrupted suddenly, when she realized that there were no houses. -Aw, I wanted to burn,- she thought to herself, then realized what she had thought. -Am I insane?- she said to herself. -But, wait, there are really no houses. Everything is just grass and trees... and mountains! There were no mountains where I lived!- She was even more scared now. -Is the pendant changing reality!?- She wanted to go back home, wanted to live her normal life, wished she never met the pendant. But the pendant's power urged her to calm down, and she relaxed subconsciously. She immersed herself into the dragon, no longer complaining, and soon it took control of her mind, changing her life and memories without her wanting it to.
Terra flied lower, near the top of the trees below, and opened her mouth to release the lavender inferno again. She enjoyed watching it spread on the tree, burning it more and more. She suddenly heard a shout and she flinched in surprise, knocking a tree with her wing, and she fell.
"Over here," she heard someone say. Four humans, a girl, a boy, and two men were walking nearer to where she fell. Terra was afraid and wanted to move away, but she was stuck between fallen trees, with one on top of her. When they came closer, one thing was on her mind.
-Dragon tamers!- she thought. She had run into them before. No way was she going to be captured and subject to being the slave of smelly and stupid humans!
The two men stood near the younger ones just enough to ensure their safety, while the girl and boy inched closer to the dragon. Terra roared at them, but it didn't deter them in the slightest. She tried to breath fire at them, but she realized in fear that she could not. "It's okay, dragon...," the boy calmly spoke. The girl whispered something to herself, and Terra could feel herself relaxing and giving up unwillingly. She tried to move to get away, but her body wasn't listening to her.
-Darn it! One of their stupid spells!- The boy got close enough to her, and reached out and petted her. To Terra's annoyance, it made her feel more comfortable and willing to be drawn in.
The boy spoke one word, "Sleep." Terra was suddenly very tired, and though she urged herself to fight back, her eyes drooped and she fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
