"Alright," said the Wizard (said so on the sign on the counter). To the naked eye, he looked like an old man in a bathrobe with glitter stars glued on them with a night cap. "Repeat after me. I solemnly swear."
Nickel placed his hand on the sacred spell books, though they kinda reminded him of hard cover Dungeons and Dragons manuals. "I solemnly swear."
"I will not use this magic ring that transforms humans and animals, into works of art, to eliminate rivals to get myself a promotion at work, get myself crowned king of the world, or to make money off those I change."
Nickel repeated.
"I understand those this ring transform remain conscious, but become zen or happy with their state of being, and so will not use this ring to make someone suffer. Reality may or may not change at my choice if they've always been a work of art or not as I choose. And anyone who is transformed, they can never be transformed into something they'd have considered to be in bad taste or offensive
Nickel repeated.
"I will politely listen to any magical/non-magical tough guy who calls what I'm doing evil, remember I have a license for this on this planet and plane of reality, and direct the to the lawyer number I have been provided with. I will not zap them out of spite or revenge and allow them to have their opinion."
Nickel repeated, a bit shaken at this part.
"I understand that transforming others into works of art, is not to turn others into sex-slaves. Any that is turned into a golem will be 'politically correct' and have no sex drive. I also understand that there is no 'undo' button with this ring, and all sales are final."
Nickel repeated the last part.
"Congratulations," the wizard said, "The ring of artwork transformation is yours, you may alter reality to turn humans into humanoid works of art, oh, that's part of it took, regardless of what they're turned into, they must remain humanoid or 'humanish', that's a basic rule of the ring, do you understand?"
"Yes."
"Good. This is the only ring I can ever sell you in this or any other life, so make the most of it as you can."
Nickel nodded and left the shop.
