Getting excited from his discovery that he could transform others consciously, Ty gets distracted from Kenji and looks for another culprit. He's already changed his brother, but he wasn't trying then. But he found that changing things around him on purpose was much more fun.
Soon after running his eyes around the area Ty sees a bench opposite the shop he is at, with a lonely, skinny boy sitting alone, swinging his short legs back and forth, with several, large, shopping bags in each hand. Looking down, the boy is clearly unhappy where he is.
A buxom woman in stilettos, huge sunglasses and a ridiculously low cut top swerves out of the shop and shoves several more large paper bags at the boy, while looking in the window of the next shop over. This woman is clearly the boy's, unconcerned mother. Poor kid. The young boy shuffles his bags around, so he can carry the new ones being thrust upon him, but the woman grows bored with waiting, curses and drops the bags on his lap. The boy scrambles to stop the bags and their content from falling to the floor, just managing to get a grip, as the woman saunters off to the next store.
Kenji is too busy revelling in his muscular and athletic new body to remember where he is (let alone that he was shopping for clothes with his mother - who is now pacing over to give him a clip on the ear for being ignorant) to notice Ty swing his attention round to his next victim of change.
Ty feels a rush of adrenaline as he focuses on the boy with the bags across the mall. His mind races, quickly pondering all the choices he could possibly try next . . .
