In the small dirty south American airport Shaggy Scooby and the gang stood around the luggage rack.
"It was really nice of Professor Simmon's to invite us to his dig." Velma proclaimed.
"Yeah he's such a sweety." Daphne agreed.
"Like I hope he'd got something to eat...cause that meal on the plane..." Shaggy started.
"You mean meals on the plane...I can't believe you ate all of ours to."
"You guys stead ya didn't want them." Shaggy protested.
"We didn't they were terrible...I just can't believe even You would eat them!" At that moment Freddie walked up.
"Good news gang I found a guide to take us to Professor Simmon's dig."
"Professor Simmon." A youth redheaded man next to them exclaimed.
"Yes.. do you know him?" Freddie asked turning to look at the stranger.
"No." The young man admitted. "But my sister Jenny is one of his students...we haven't heard from her since she came down here so I told our folks I'd come look for her."
"Oh ok...then why don't you come with us...we're going to the Professor's base camp." Velma explained.
"Could I?" The young man asked.
"Sure." The gang agreed as one.
"Great.. my name is Jarrett."
"Nice to meet you Jarrett." Velma said smiling.

Hours later after riding across the muddy deeply rutted roads the battered old range rover screeches to a halt in a high mtn pass. Below a wide deep rain soaked jungle stretches out before them.
"Are we here?" Shaggy asks looking around.
"No!" The guide growls.
"Then why have we stopped?" Freddie asked the driver.
"This place is cursed." The driver explains as he climbs out of the range rover.
"Oho please." Daphne snarls.
"I go no farther." Their guide explains.
"But how far are we from the base camp?" Velma asked.
"I go no farther this place is cursed...turn back now or you will taste it's power." The guide exclaimed as he ran away back down the road.
"That was weird." Shaggy exclaimed.
"Re Reird." Scooby agreed.
"Well gang looks like we're on our own from here." Freddie exclaimed as he climbed into the drivers seat.
"Will we even be able to find it?" Jarrett asked looking worried.
"Well theres only one road." Freddie said cheerfully. "And accourting to this map it only goes one place..so I think so." He said grinning..........
