"Sure. I've been wanting someone to come care for me anyway." Natalie replies.
"Thank you, honey. I'll pay that back in kind by taking good care of you." Claudia says, giving Natalie a hug.
"I'm actually kinda looking forward to this." Natalie says.
"Mind if I carry you to the room?" Claudia asks.
"Yeah, sure." Natalie replies. Claudia lifts Natalie into her arms and carries her to their room. The room has a big bed, a big TV, a couch as well as a full kitchen. Claudia sets Natalie down on the couch and sits next to her. Natalie already felt somewhat close to Claudia, and was beginning to like her as a potential mother. Claudia felt the same way, having never had a child to care for.
"Natalie, honey. What was your childhood like?" Claudia asks.
"Horrible. My parents were physically abusive. They'd hit me with whatever they could get their hands on, and I don't ever recall them being nice outside of my infant years. They were very bitter people, thinking that I was the reason their lives were horrible, when in reality, it was their own fault. My father was an alcoholic was had gotten 3 DUIs and was just a mess at times. My mother had various jobs and always quit them because she always felt entitled to a promotion that she never really deserved. I never saw my family much because they were actually somewhat decent. My whole family has massive baggage and it's always been like that. I left the day I hit 18 and never looked back. I just wish they were mature enough to better their own lives but even I should know that was unlikely. They died as bitter people. I've never had a parent figure to love me." Natalie says, as she lies her head on Claudia's lap, and some tears start flowing her face. Claudia wipes her tears away.
"Natalie............I could be your mother. You can leave here as a kid and I'd take care of you." Claudia says.
"You'd really do that?" Natalie asks.
"Of course, honey. I've been wanting a child, as I've said, and trust me when I say this, my family would welcome you with open arms. We've been waiting for our first child to coddle over." Claudia answers.
"You wouldn't be like my parents, would you?" Natalie asks.
"Hitting children in any fashion is wrong, honey. I wouldn't even so much as spank you, that I promise." Claudia says.
"Wow, that's very nice of you...................." Natalie says, pondering Claudia's offer for a loving childhood.
