This is wrong...
You've always wanted to try clowning, but these permanent changes are way too much. You weren't raised by clowns, and your name isn't Buttons, but whatever he did to you is messing with your mind.
"Change me back!" you shout before your mind can slip away from you entirely.
"But you said you always wanted-"
"Not like this! Change me back to normal! Please!!"
As suddenly as it all started, your body starts shifting back to normal. Your feet shrink to just a couple sizes larger than they used to be. Hair sprouts back out at your eyebrows and the top of your head. Your clothes regress slower, and though the colors fade and the proportions shrink, you're still wearing a bow tie and suspenders when they finally stop shifting. Your nose remains a red bulb until you squeeze it and it deflates with a small fart noise. The color in your face is nearly back to normal, but in the mirror, you can still make out a slight discoloration of pale skin and red on your nose.
"I'm back!" you exclaim, "I'm me again! Thank you!"
"Don't thank me yet," states Mesmero, "undoing a change spell is actually harder than casting it in the first place, and the energies of that first spell are still very much inside you. Your mind should stay as dull as it was before you came here, but your body is in a very unstable and suggestible state. For the next 24 hours, you must be careful not to be silly, or you'll become a clown again, but won't have the personality to enjoy it."
You promise not to be funny as you back out of the trailer and head back to the carnival. Mesmero pokes his head out for one final warning as you leave.
"Be careful! Though you don't look like a clown, others will still sense the clown within you!"
