Altered Fates

Taking the medallion with you was a bad idea.

added by AntaBaka 7 years ago S

Jason was called downstairs for dinner suddenly. He realized people had gotten home without him noticing. He looked at the medallion. He could leave it in the room but his room was also used to store some stuff from his mother and brothers. They might accidentally find it. She Jason put on a T-shirt that he himself bought cheap and hid the medallion beneath the fabric. His body didn't seem to change. He sighed and headed downstairs. His mother and father were at the table but Sean and Will weren't there, probably out eating with some friends or girlfriends he guessed. His mother confirmed that by saying "Your brothers won't be coming, both are out eating with their friends." He got a plate in front of him and they started eating. His mother started talking about how they were late because they visitted grandma and how she knit a sweater for him that he should try on. They kept eating till their stomachs were full. The meal was okay but obviously very simple with cheap meat and baked potatoes with some vegetables. Jason leaned back. "Thanks for the meal, mother." His mother stood up and grabbed a sweater from a plastic bag. "Here's what your grandmother made you, isn't it warm looking?" Jason stared at it and shrugged. "Honestly, it looks too small, ma." His mother stared at him and then at the sweater. "It will fit, just try it on..." Jason shook his head. "His mother grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled the sweater over him. "No nonsense, she worked very hard on this." She said as she pulled it down. Jason tried to struggle out of it but his mother pinched him. "No resisting, if it really doesn't fit you don't have to wear it." He wrestled around in the sweater and then finally got his arms through. The sweater suddenly didn't feel tight anymore.

Jason looked up at his mother. His mother stood shocked with an open mouth. "Jason, what." Jason realized what was wrong, he hadn't looked up at his mother for years. His mother was only 5'2'' He looked into the dining room mirror with wide open eyes full of fright. Jason ran upstairs into his room and pulled off his grandmothers sweater roughly almost tearing it apart. He heard a hard twack as he threw it on the floor. He grabbed one of his brothers sweaters and put it on. He grabbed his neck. The medallion? He looked at the sweater. He must have pulled it off along with his sweater. He searched it, shook it and then threw it across the room. Where was the medallion? The looked under the bad and could see a vague outline of something beneath it. He dropped onto his stomach and the groaned and turned around grabbing his crotch. His package was still as big as it was, slamming it against the ground made him realize that again. He got on his side and reached for the object and managed to grab it. He pulled his hand back and screamed. "Shit!" it was his Jo-Jo, not the medallion. Frantically searching his room and finally realizing the truth. The medallion was nowhere to be found... He was now a small boy not even 5 foot tall with a huge endowment who once was boy who could have been a candidate for a pro basketball in terms of height. The medallion was gone, his parents stood at the door visibly confused and he didn't know any way to fix this or explain this to his parents. How their tall youngest son became a short boy.
