As Simon sat with his friends, he couldn't help but stare at the slop: before eating, he needed to be sure of ine thing. Yet, how to not sound suspicious?
"So... any plans for today?" Simon asked Jay; he wanted to know if everyone else would have accepted them as "normal", too.
"Hm? Well, today's Sunday, so we might as well go somewhere and have fun. Maybe a movie?" Jay answered "Or, I don't know, maybe we could go to the park? Any ideas, Brian?"
The minotaur started gesturing, giving a low moo at the end of his "answer". "Yeah, the park's better if you put it that way. Don't want to "be lazy all day and do nothing" like my mom said", Jay immediately responded.
He then turned back to Simon; "So, the park it is. Simon, tell your mom we're going out and let's get a move. Hopefully the basketball court is still empty."
Simon, who had been enjoying his slop, stopped and pondered: if they were both so sure about their ideas, surely the world around them must've changed to accomodate them. Off to the park, then!
