Eliot watched the broadcast loop a few more times before turning off the television. He went to his computer to look up the class schedules for the following day. If there was an emergency of this scale, his morning class would likely be canceled.
He still planned to finish that report tonight, but a little extra time wouldn’t hurt. He logged onto his school's edu-board site and scrolled to his classes. As luck would have it, they had canceled every one of them. He now had the entire week off. That was nice to know; though kind of irritating since he couldn’t really go anywhere. If his school was closed then most of the town might have also been shut down.
He sighed and started browsing a few message boards to see if anyone had anything interesting to say. There were a lot photographs with ‘changed’ people. Some were minor, like extra fingers and toes. Some were more extreme, like extra arms or legs. One girl had something that looked like a tail. It was hard to believe it wasn’t some huge prank. Curiosity got the better of him and he opened one of the NSFW forums to see what sort of changes were hidden under people’s cloths.
It was mostly anonymous descriptions, but a small number of people posted pictures of their deformed genitalia. Some guys had grown extra dicks or testicles, girls appeared to have double the usual number of openings, and many had more than two breasts of varying sizes. Extra parts almost seemed mild compared to one guy’s changes.
