Being a mere infant werewolf you couldn't do much but watch as your new parents completed the paperwork to finish your adoption. You knew in the back of your mind you were supposed to be older but, at this point even though you had been an adult human only a day ago the memories already felt like they were a long way off, as if it was a distant memory, or even memories of a past life. Maybe it had something to do with how your infant brain worked, maybe it was because it just wasn't developed yet, or maybe it was because on some level you wanted a chance to start over but you simply couldn't find a reason to be outraged or upset about it.
Eventually the adoption was complete and you were lifted into the arms of your new mother again. She gently booped you on the tip of your muzzle with her paw resulting in an involuntary giggle as she held you to her chest as the two headed for the exit for the adoption center and the zoo. They stopped near a small house gatehouse near the zoo's exit and then each of them changed. Their tails and fur melted away as they became normal humans, though humans with oddly striking eyes and dark gray hair that looked to be in peak physical condition. Each of them then stepped into the gatehouse to retrieve articles of clothing and get dressed. You didn't fully understand now, but as you got older you would learn werewolves and other magical creatures kept their existence a secret, and as a result they couldn't be walking around in public in their wolf forms. The zoo was apparently considered a safe location for them, and there were others you'd learn about later. Looking back on this day, you'd wonder if it was a mistake by zoo security to let a normal human like you into the park anyway.
Your parents ran into a slight problem with you. They had just transformed you into a werewolf, and you had no ability to change forms at will yet. Your mom covered you in a jacket, leaving just enough of your head exposed to let you breathe freely while she kept you clutched to her chest again trying to minimize what others can see. After both parents were fully dressed and had you well hidden they left the zoo. You weren't sure what you were expecting as they walked through the parking lot but they wound up owning a minivan. Your father drove while your mother held you. You wondered if you were being taken home to some kind of strange castle, or maybe a secret lair in the woods, or possibly some kind of hidden village.
It turned out to be a brick house with a white picket fence in a suburban neighborhood that could win an award for the most average location of all kind. Even as an infant you were slightly disappointed in how normal this turned out to be. It turned out other than some fur, a tail and being really good at howling growing up a werewolf wasn't going to be that different from growing up a human.
After getting inside and ensuring the door was locked and all windows covered your parents wasted no time in ditching their clothing and returning to their wolf forms, as well as unwrapping you from the sweater. A lot of what they said was hard to understand, and you blamed your infant brain for that, you should know the words but it simply was harder now. You were able to put together some of what they talked about, apparently they had been married for awhile and something... You weren't sure but you figured out you were an only child... Because... something... You weren't sure but it sounded like for some reason they couldn't have kids and so adoption was their only option.
It was all a lot to take in. Like it or not this was your life now, and it was exhausting. Your young body tired out quickly, and you let out a big puppy yawn before eventually drifting into sleep. The last thing you remember of this day was being placed in a crib right next to your parent's bed in their room.
