As everyone within the Twist and Anderson households got up and prepared for a new day, each thought about what lied ahead.
THE ANDERSONS...
*While getting dressed before going downstairs, William and Martha realize they have never discussed the "birds and the bees" with Nate. Although William accidentally discovered that his oldest son is now sexually active, neither parent is aware that it is with another boy.
*William has to get ready for his first day back at the college after being turned into a werefox by the sex crazed rogue were-vixen Yvette Smith, unless he's needed down at the courthouse for Yvette's arraignment hearing.
*Martha, wanting to re-enter the work force now that her children are teenagers, is catching a ride with the Twists (perhaps the Andersons should invest in a second vehicle some day) and will be dropped off at the Moon Lake School's Administration office to see if they will hire her at least as an elementary school substitute teacher, if not help her get re-certified to teach elementary school in Moon Lake.
*If there's time, Martha still wants to go shopping for new lingerie too. She doubts her new bosom actually needs bras anymore, but some (sexy) panties would be nice. Especially if they would allow for tail growth whenever she changes into her werecat form.
*Eric is excited about meeting Julie Stovall for their first date after school, a walking tour of Moon Lake.
*Meanwhile, Nate is wondering if people at school know, or do anything to acknowledge he's become a werewolf over the weekend.
*Nate is also excited to be going on an actual date with his boyfriend Alex after school, not knowing about Eric's plans. Here's hoping they don't cross paths somewhere along the way, since Nate is still "in the closet" until he can figure out how to tell his parents he's gay.
*Not knowing Nate's plans or when exactly Eric will be home from his first date with Julie, William will be all alone in the house while Martha goes on her date night with the Twists. Does it matter how he passes the time before one of the boys come home?
THE TWISTS...
*Samantha wants to be at the courthouse for Yvette's arraignment hearing, in hopes to expedite matters to make sure the rogue were-vixen's last victim, Jenny Harper, is able to complete her transition into were society as soon as possible. Her wife Frances, a professional therapist, has offered to help if needed. After the wild sexcapades they had during "Sunday Night With The Twists", Samantha finally remembered to tell Frances about Harry Jenkins proposing to Jenny Harper, and spending the night with her in the hospital safe room, thus becoming Moon Lake's latest werefox, and correcting the continuity mistake your humble author made in that episode. (mea culpa)
*Frances plans to pick up their son Ben's car from the garage that morning after having some service work done on it, and will pick up Martha with it after she calls for a ride. The two ladies might get to do some shopping together after Martha's job interview, but they will definitely have dinner and "dessert" with Samantha later that night. (F/F/F, meow!)
*Ben Twist actually has no (known) plans beyond enjoying another day at school.
Yet there are OTHER things happening around Moon Lake that will affect things...
*Akana no Tachibana is approaching Moon Lake Hospital, and plans to treat Harry and Jenny to breakfast while discussing the immediate and far future of life amongst the Skulk in Moon Lake. She doesn't know yet that Harry turned into a gray instead of a red fox. Will this have any significance? Especially in light of the fact that Jenny is now a rare (to Northern America at least) Sahara Desert Fox.
*Yvette's arraignment hearing is this morning. She paced frantically in her jail cell all night, hating the small confined space and lonely as hell. All she wants is "her" William. How will the rogue were-vixen react to the fact that not only will she be denied bail because of her recent actions during her escape, but she must complete Jenny Harper's induction into were society, especially considering her apparent dislike of lesbians, as displayed by her disparaging remarks concerning Martha Anderson being a "friend" of the Twists?
*Even with her boyfriend proposing and spending the night to relieve her "stress", creating and strengthening the already established life/mate bond between them as both humans and werefoxes, will the prolonged delay in completing Jenny Harper's induction into were society have any effect or long term consequences on her?
*Julie Stovall is still thinking about that wonderful dream she had about Eric in our previous episode "Lovers and Dreamers". Should she tell anyone?
*If Julie and Eric ever do realize they had the exact same dream about each other, what (if anything) does it mean?
It is now approaching 6:30 that morning as everyone gathers around their respective tables for breakfast.
