Lee looked coldly at Charlie, shook his head atop his thick neck slowly, and intoned, "It's not over yet. I will tell you when it's over."
Charlie was devastated. He knew what was to come, but he didn't want to fathom it. He cast his gaze helplessly toward the machine. "Beginning phase six," the voice said, almost mockingly.
"Lee, please, you have to --"
"I'll tell you when it's over," Lee interrupted sternly, "and I'm through with you telling me what I have to do."
Charlie grit his teeth, not wanting to enjoy the feeling of his impending growth in spite of himself. He knew the cost would be too great. His size marched steadily to its impressive size from the first round, but Charlie ignored it. Every time he felt pleasure, he merely looked toward the hulking man on the other side of the room and he remembered what was truly happening. Charlie was hoping that Lee would say something, perhaps change his mind, but Lee just glared in silence. It was jarring.
Finally, the machine clicked, reversing the flow, seemingly taunting Charlie. His size seemed to be draining extremely quickly by now, even though it was the same rate as usual. It merely lasted twice as long as his growth had. Charlie was unwilling to focus on his own shrinking and disgusted by the sight of Lee, once-puny Lee, growing. He decided it was less depressing to focus on Lee's jubilant growth.
And wow, what a growth it was. Lee was already huger than huge, so Charlie would have thought that any further size would have been unnoticeable, but it wasn't. First of all, Lee swelled in height. This would be an impressive feat on anyone, but on someone with Lee's current proportions, it was scary.
Secondly, Lee's proportions changed. His muscles plumped out wider and wider, every inch of him covered in dark hair. His neck disappeared as his traps engulfed them. His arms became the size of a man's torso; then they quickly became larger than that. His chest grew outwards, upwards, and sideways, competing with itself for room. His legs quickly demolished any thought of having a thigh gap as they rubbed together, forcing his stance wider. His core had to increase in size to accommodate the huge mass it was supporting, but compared to his chest and lats it looked tiny.
This was clearly the most either of them had changed in one round, and it made Lee look inhuman. Lee's face was, for the most part, unchanged. Lee had always had a sort of handsomeness to him that was mitigated by his pathetic body, but after having passed from puny to average to hunkish to hulkish, it fit in a lot better. Charlie also noticed that Lee's beard had come in quite thickly, although it wasn't too long. Lee had always kept his face clean-shaven so this was quite a dramatic change. Lee truly looked like a man -- or would have, had his body not looked ridiculous.
“Hey Charlie," Lee taunted, "I'm twice the man you'll ever be.” Charlie chose not to dignify that comment with a response. “Well, twice the length. I'm also twice your diameter, which means four times the cross-sectional area, and eight times the volume. Think about that. It would take eight of you to be as big as I am. Oh, but there's nothing 'eight' about you any more, is there?”
For all his book smarts, Lee had never been so great at the personal insults. However, at this point, it didn't really matter; his point was well taken. Charlie looked down at himself, now no longer muscular. His dick was average size, but to Charlie, who had only ever known a full eight inches, it seemed embarrassingly small. At last the pump clicked off, and Charlie tried to ply Lee's favour once again. "Please, Lee," he begged, "I'm average."
