You slam the door closed, happy that both Anna and the other poor woman were clear of it. After it closes, you hear a click and realize it is now locked. You then quickly spin around and see Joy standing by the opening to Anna's pen. She's holding onto several of Anna's discarded fangs between her fist's fingers as if they were spiked brass knuckles. "Keep your distance," she says to you. "If you try anything, I'll jam these into face, and you can spend the rest of your life scratching for fleas and mating nightly with the brit bitch."
"Brit bi...? Oh. Look. Lady," you say with your hands up. "At this point I just want to get the hell out of here alive, in one piece, and human."
"Fine. We wait a few more seconds," she says as she sidesteps over to the control panel. "Then I'll open the door. Anna will be human again, and so long as you can handle on single tiny irate woman, you should be able to head on out. We can forget this night happened."
"Like hell!" you say. "The moment that door opens, you'll just turn the knob up to 11!"
She rolls her eyes. "It only goes up to 10."
"That was a Spinal Tap reference."
"Never saw it."
"Well, neither did I. But I-"
"Whatever!" she shouts as she stood by the controls. "Then what do you suggest? Because that door is the only way out of here, and coming at me will just be a one-way ticket to a lifetime of flea baths."
"What about a service door through Anna's place? The zoo has to have one of those, right?" you ask.
"Locked, and it doesn't open from this side."
"FREEZE!" The voice was so loud it caused you to jump, however it came from the other side of the door. "Move to your left, and stay on the ground! Medic! We need a medic!" You also hear Anna shouting protests, but you can't make out the exact words. "Stay down!"
Looking back, Joy smiles evilly at you. "Oops. Times up." Suddenly she gives a loud earthshaking scream, "GET AWAY FROM ME! HELP ME! MURDERER! MURDERER!" And with that she hits a button on the door, unlocking it behind you. "SOMEBODY HELP ME!"
