Ty quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. He moved to sit up; their was slight resistance down the middle of their torso before Dustin obliged and sat up with Ty. "H-how... Why are... What..." Ty had so many questions, but the only question he could verbalize was, "Where's Ian?" The last time Ty saw Dustin was when he left him with a conjoined twin, Ian. He had also wiped their memories of him, so Dustin recognizing him was a pleasant surprise to Ty.
"Ian?" Dustin looked at Ty quizzically. "Whose that?"
"You don't know? He was your..." Ty started but then stopped abruptly. How did Dustin not know? Ty decided it was best not to bring that up. "Never mind. He was someone I thought you would be hanging out with." Maybe Ian is back in their reality separate and happy, or maybe this was a different reality's version of Dustin. Either was fine with Ty; he just could not stop smiling. "I'm just glad that you forgive me." Ty had to force down another tear before it leaked from his eye.
"Hey, no worries, Ty." Dustin repeated again. He took a glance around the open space. Dustin heard the crashing of waves near by. "Where are we? An island."
"Yeah, I kind of set up residence here. But we can head back-"
Dustin shook his head and waved his hand. "Are you kidding? This place looks amazing." Dustin smiled at his step brother. "I have to hand it to you, Ty. You know how to design an island." Dustin then changed his gaze down to their joined naked body. Half it was clearly his, and the other was Ty's. "Though, I am a little surprised that we're attached. Did you get lonely and look for inseparable companionship."
Ty laughed lightly. "It wasn't exactly a clear decision. I sort of willed it by accident."
"Yeah, right. You probably just didn't want to spend ANY more time away from me." Dustin smiled and lightly socked Ty in the arm. Ty retaliated by punching back playfully. The friendly squirmish escalated and the two quickly found themselves rolling around in the warm sand, laughing.
