... With a quick motion, Mary chugged down the contents of the vial marked with a picture of a horse. She smacked her lips. She could only describe the taste as "oaty"... Not unlike how oatmeal would taste, but with a consistency like syrup, befitting its liquid nature.
Mary then took a deep breath and, resting her hands atop the swell of her now-pregnant belly, waited to observe any results of her transformative draught. She knew that, not knowing exactly what the outcome of her action might be, that what she had just done could charitably be called "impulsive", but she figured that, one way or another, everything would turn out alright. Mary very much loved horses, so she figured that, whatever the outcome of this, it should be interesting and fun. Plus, she had such a wide variety of vials at her disposal, with so many effects, that she wagered that she could easily use one or a combination of them to mitigate or undo any negative effects that might occur from her choice...
