Jen stayed awake for the rest of the night, ready to bolt out the door no matter which werewolf broke it down. She held a lamp in her hand, taken off of the nightstand by her bed, ready to crack a skull, should the need arise. Down below her, she heard the sounds of a vicious werewolf fight going on, and she wondered who would come out of it victorious. Frank had the size, but Gillian had a certain fury about her tha Frank simply couldn't match.
After what seemed like an eternity to Jen,(though in reality only a few hours) the first rays of the sun peeked through the bedroom window. Jen waited a short while, making sure that the sun was completely risen, then unlocked the door and ventured down the stairs.
A scene of gore and destruction greeted her as she entered the living room. Frank's mangled body lay in a heap on the floor, surrounded by shards of broken wood and glass. Several chunks were missing from his flesh, and his head had nearly been severed from the gaping neck wound he'd sustained. Apparently, Gillian, in her beast form had won after quite the epic struggle.
Gillian herself seemed alright, though fairly bruised and scraped. She was curled up in a corner of the living room, looking fairly content. Jen thought to perhaps sneak out while Gillian was asleep, wanting to avoid the now awkward relationship they shared. Jen also wanted to talk to Sam, to try and work out the rather nasty spat they'd had. She hoped his rage might have subsided from the night before, though she dreaded what might happen tonight, as it was the second night of the full moon.
As Jen was preparing to leave, however, she stepped on a broken pane of glass. The sound caused Gillian to stir, and she opened her eyes dreamily, looking at Jen with a coy smile. "Hello, Jen. I told you I'd keep you safe," she said, standing up and stretching.
"Yeah....I really owe you one," Jen replied, feeling uncomfortable.
Gillian walked over to her, giving her a tight embrace. "Now that I am what I am, you never have to worry again," she whispered in Jen's ear. Jen's instinct was to pull away as she felt Gillian's nipples grow erect against her own breasts. Jen simply didn't feel any sexual urges towards the woman, though she was quite attractive, with her china-white skin and fiery red hair.
"Look, um...I have to go home now. I have a lot of cleaning up to do, and I have to find my brother," Jen said, prying herself out of Gillian's grasp. Jen couldn't help but feel guilty as she saw the pang of hurt flash across Gillian's eyes. Jen hadn't really thought of what her dare might do.
"Do..do you think..you could come back over tonight? You shouldn't be alone. That other werewolf might come back, and you need me for protection," Gillian said, sounding horridly hopeful.
"Sure. I'll come back over tonight, I promise," Jen said in a mock cheerful tone. She had to be very careful how to handle this situation, she realized. Now that Gillian had the power, one misstep by Jen, and she could find the curse used on her in ways she wouldn't like.
"Great," Gillian replied, reaching her arms out for a final farewell hug. Jen reluctantly accepted the embrace, shivering slightly as Gillian gave her a prolonged peck on the cheek. "Oh, Jen," Gillian said as Jen was almost out the door,"take this, you probably shouldn't be naked in the street during daylight hours." Gillian handed Jen the robe from the previous night, slightly mangled but still wearable. Jen simply smiled in return, donning it and trotting home, wanting to be away from her unwanted lover.
