You examine the statue, you are amazed at the detail, it really is a fantastic work of art. Suddenly the statue comes to life and grabs you! It's so strong you can't break free. You watch as the wood on it's body transforms into real fur and skin, it's alive. The newly freed bigfoot sinks his teeth into your neck. Suddenly you start feeling stiff, it's hard to move. Looking down you see your skin turn into wood. You try to resist but you can't move and soon you black out.
After some time, you wake up. Looking around a dimly lit room. Inside are various chisels and wood working supplies scattered about the room and in the corner you see an old man with a long grey beard, staring at you. "Welcome" he says. "You must be very confused, lets start clearing that up. I am your father and you are my creation." You try opening your mouth to argue but you have trouble speaking. "Are you familiar with gargoyles?" He asks. You nod. "You see, my art is similar to that. I create statues that come to life at night. But it's not that simple, I need materials with a soul and but you can't sculpt with a human body, so I have my faithful child transform people into wood so I may sculpt them into art."
