Before you can think of turning back, rusted gears devour links of chain like ravenous beasts. The drawbridge jerks up with such suddenness that you are
catapulted into Charles. You both collide with the hard stone floor as the stone mouth slams shut.
“Shit,” you gasp. “We’re trapped in here!”
