A little boy, no older than 4, with white hair and red eyes ran up to you and said "Mommy! Daddy said to go to the little restaurant to get breakfast quickly." You looked at the child that you thought was your child... Steven was his name you think... Yeah you and your husband had him and was here in the city as a family vacation... That's what you thought at least.
You said "Alright then Steven, now hurry along and get your breakfast as well." Steven nodded and ran off. You sighed and put your arms under your chest which felt off somehow... You looked down and they seemed bigger and saggier... In fact your whole body felt a little more plump... No it was like that ever since your pregnancy... You thought to yourself this felt off and wondered if you were originally Steven's mother. You decided to not worry about it too much right now and go meet your family.
As you walked down to the little hotel restaurant you saw Steven and his father at a table arguing about something. As you got to the table you heard Steven say "I wish you weren't my father!"
A little concerned you said "Um, Good Morning..."
your husband said "Good Morning Elizabeth... I'll get your eggs for you, get you just the way you like them." You could tell that he was leaving because of a small argument they had.
You asked Steven politely "Sweety did something happen? Between you and your father?"
Steven said "No, nothing happened between me and my real dad..." Steven looked and pointed at some random man and said "See there's real dad with your eggs!" Your vision started to blur and your mind began to ache but quickly a man said "Honey are you alright? I was gone to get those eggs for a few seconds and your nearly doubled over." You looked and saw a man who you remembered to be your husband... or was he? You were sure the person you remembered was your husband was someone else a few moments ago... right?
You said "I'm fine, I think it was just a small headache. Right Stephanie?"
Stephanie your daughter said "Yeah, you seem to be having those more lately mommy." You thought a bit and could've sworn you had a son and not a daughter... Than again you weren't sure the man who gave you the sperm to make a child was the same one you had a few moments ago... You remembered Stephanie wishing someone else was her father... Then saying someone else was her father... right? Stephanie asked "What you thinking about mommy?"
You said "Just thinking about what we're going to do today. Is there anything you wish we'd do?"
Stephanie had a grin on her face and then said "I wish..."
