The crew was able to dock in Cheres, the capital of Novianca. It was no Vicona for sure, but still had quite the charm. A lovely rainforest surrounded the city's land borders. Despite leaving the mist, the effects would subtly continue to linger upon the crew. Most of these changes now would be mental, as the changed crew now did not reject their new forms, but slowly began to enjoy and embrace them.
Emilia moved some of the hair away from her face, giggling to herself briefly, before approaching some sailors from Cheres.
"Hello, uh, sailors!" She would say happily to the grinning men.
"Wowee! A crew full of lasses. They our newest whore shipment?" One of them would joke.
"Prob'ly, look, here comes more of 'em!" The other would say as he pointed to the rest of the crew approaching.
Emilia would blink before turning to her sister who just arrived.
"Manuela, we can't introduce ourselves to them with our real names, they'd think we're crazy, since we no longer look like the sons of Dom Vasco."
"I hope you have something in mind, sister?" Manuela would respond, not taking the time to pause before refering to Emilia as her sister.
"Do not worry, I've got this." Emilia smirked before turning to the sailors, "I am Emilia Remanza. This is my sister, Manuela Remanza. Yes, we are the.. nieces.. of Dom Vasco Remanza. We have been.. uh.. chosen by Dom Vasco himself to find treasures for Novoforte! Where should our hunt start?"
Manuela would sigh as she watched her sister lie about their identity to the Cheresian sailors.
"Emilia and Manuela Remanza? Those names sound like the Remanza brothers, innit?" One of the sailors would inquire.
"Uh, yes.. our father had a strange sense of humor, since we were also born twins!" She would say as she blinked quickly twice. Her lies were barely convincing to the sailors, but to her altering mind she slowly started to accept these lies as fact.
The other sailor grunted. "Alright, lasses, just follow the dirt road and you'll end up in the jungle in no time. From there you're own your own for hunting treasure. Hope you're ready for those crazy savages and deadly animals!" He said before he and the other sailor shared a laugh.
"Well, ok! I trust you!" Emilia would say, nodding her head. Her hair grew subtly grew a bit while talking to the sailors, and it moved in front of her face again when she nodded. She did not notice, starting to think of it as her body's nature.
"Manuela, should we go now or take a break in one of the taverns?"
