The crew was able to dock in Cheres, the capital of Novianca. It was no Vicona for sure, but still had quite the charm. A lovely rainforest surrounded the city's land borders. The newly changed ladies were nervous due to their new forms, hoping they wouldn't cause too much of a problem in the city. However, they would find out that this would not be a problem, as most of the city was full of ladies!
Emilia moved some of the hair away from her face with a bit of surprise, as she took one look at her reflection again in the ocean before approaching some of the ladies who appeared to be changed sailors from another crew.
"Hello, uh.. sailors?" She would say nervously to the disappointed women.
"Another crew of changees? Welcome to the club.." One of them would sarcastically sputter out.
"Aye.. came in through the mist, no doubt." The other would say, "Who are you?"
Emilia would blink "I am Emilio Antonio Remanza.. at least I used to be. This is my brother, Emanuel Vasco Remanza. Yes, we are the sons of Dom Vasco Afonso Remanza.. I guess right now you can say we're his daughters?"
"Ah, you're the sons of Dom Vasco? I was right then, the mist DOESN'T discriminate between peasant and noble.."
Manuela would approach. "We're hoping we can find whatever did this to us, and get our old bodies back."
One of the sailors scoffed. "That seems to be on everyone elses mind, good luck with that. That mist has been around for a few days and already most of the city's sailors have been changed."
The other changed sailor gave her input. "I sure hope whoever or whatever's caused this mess isn't strong enough to handle a bunch of pissed sailors!"
Emilia would sigh. "Any leads on where to start?"
The second sailor would point to a dirt road. "That goes into the jungle. We've not much leads aside from Pablo's crew, who were the first to change, but they went looking for the cause. I bet they'd know."
"Then it looks like we have to go to the jungle." Manuela concluded.
"Aye.. if some whoreson doesn't come out of the bushes and starts trying to plow you!" The first sailor would say.
"Hope you Remanzas got some good weapons, because there are a bunch of wild beasts and crazy savages out there that'd love to have you dead."
Emilia turned to her sister. "What should we do now, go right after the sailor, or get stocked up?"
