As Lucas' brother, Niell, walked from the the room, Lucas began drawing. He bent down to the drawing if Niell, examining it. After a few seconds, he looked at the other pictures on the floor. Each of them had drawings of his favorite animal: The Lion. He grabbed a brown crayon and brought it to the portrait, making a few edits, completely unaware of what was happening downstairs.
Niell walked down the stairs and to the kitchen. Since his brother was disinterested with dinner, he figured he would heat some up for him later. As he pondered what to eat, he absentmindedly brought his hand up to his chin, but was greeted with something different. Instead of his bear, peach fuzz chin, there were long strokes of brown hairs. They were bunched together in quite the same fashion as a beard, but softer.
Confused, he felt just how thick it was. The beard was not there a mere 10 seconds ago. How did it grow so fast? He felt around his head to find it grew along the perimeter of his head. His hear no longer fell messily on his head, but was soft and slicked back. He felt his shirt, and how it poofed out a bit. Quickly, he rushed to the bathroom to get a better look.
Removing his shirt, he found the hair feached around his shoulders. It drapped down his back. In the front, it ran down his pecs to the middle of his stomach. His elbows and armpits even doned the hair. He actually looked rather silly, the mane looking like a hoodie. He did feel strangely regal.
Thoughts flooded his mind as to how this got there. But the more he thought of it, the more he drew conclusions to the fact he always had it. It felt wierd to think, but hadn't his hair been this way? Yea that had to be the only explaination. He walked out of the bathroom, not bothering to put his shirt back on.
Meanwhile, back upstairs, Lucas finished putting the Lion's Mane on his brother, but felt it wasn't quite complete. He decided to add a-
