Your name is Rick and you're a pretty average 40 year old male with a slight gut. Of course that average only applies to how you look physically. Since the earliest you can remember you knew that you were supposed to have been born a girl. You've lost track of the times when you saw your dick and just wanted to rip it off but you didn't realizing that it would hurt a lot and would probably cause you to die. You know that people would tell you to go see a psychologist and start transitioning but that takes money which you didn't have. The only reason you haven't spiraled into complete despair and tried to kill yourself is that you hold out hope that one day an easier and cheaper way to become female would be found. Your hope strengthened two years ago when the Gifted Ones came into being. You had figured that one of them would become really smart and figure out a way to transform people. That hasn't happened yet but it probably would given enough time. Of course you would have liked it if you had become a Gifted One yourself especially if you had changed sex like a few of the ones you read about did. But fate wasn't with you that day so you had to wait.
You sighed as you walked through the woods. You had needed to get away from people at times before you went crazy looking at girls and women and thinking how lucky they were to be in the body they were supposed to be in. Today had been one of those times when you had overheard a couple of girls complaining about their periods and everything that goes along with it. One of them had even said that it was times like this that she wished she had been born a boy just so she wouldn't have to deal with having periods. You had wanted to tell her how lucky she actually was but instead you kept your mouth shut and came out to the woods. It was so peaceful out here that your problems didn't seem so big which is why you came.
You stopped feeling as though you were being watched. You looked around but couldn't see anyone. Of course they may be hiding behind a tree but which one you couldn't guess. You began to feel a bit uneasy with the thought that someone was watching you. You took out your phone only to discover that it had no power. You must have forgotten to charge it up and now you were mentally kicking yourself for it. If your phone was charged you could have called someone and that may have been enough to scare away whoever it was that was watching you. Now though there wasn't much you could do but try to get out of the woods and hope whoever was following you didn't try to harm you.
You took a few more steps when suddenly it felt like your body was numb and on fire. This was the experience many of the Gifted Ones said they had when they were first transformed. You became very excited because you were becoming a Gifted One for some reason. Now you had to wonder if your form would change.
